About Us
2600 is a Marine corps MOS designation that encompasses signals intelligence/ electronic warfare.
We are a group of Marines whose military occupation evolved from the Signals collection teams that operated in Vietnam out of the Radio Bns and Crypto Support Bns. There is an increasing need for advocacy, fellowship and preservation of history within the 2600 community and the entire veteran community. Our group consists of a board of four 2600s. membership requires 2600 or precursor MOS title and a board vote, some honorary members will be accepted.
Mission
To be a voice for the veteran community and preserve 2600 traditions and history. Members of this association will work towards issues we collectively believe affect 2600s and veterans in general. We will use our collective resources to push for resolution to issues we believe benefit the 2600 community past and present along with the entire veteran community.
